1. Data Collection
When you use GATETECH, we collect account profile information, selected exam tracks, solved questions, bookmarks, remarks, study activity, StudyReel activity, and AI feature usage. This data is collected strictly to preserve your preparation progress and provide personalized study recommendations.
On Android, the optional Strict Focus feature uses Usage Access to detect when another app becomes active and Display over other apps to show the focus blocker. Foreground app names are processed only on the device while a user-started session is active; GATETECH does not store or transmit those app names.
2. Purpose of Use
We use the collected information to power core features of GATETECH, including displaying your dashboard, saving mock attempts, calculating study accuracy, generating targeted trackers, enforcing usage limits, and improving the relevance of our AI tutor responses.
3. Artificial Intelligence Features
Selected AI features transmit questions, transcripts, or study contexts to external AI providers to generate answers and explanations. We transmit only the minimum required information to perform these tasks. Please do not enter private credentials or sensitive personal information into AI chat prompts.
4. Support payments
Support payments are securely processed by Razorpay. We retain payment references, contribution amounts and refund status to verify access and maintain accurate contribution records. GATETECH does not collect, access, or store your credit card details or billing credentials.
5. Data Sharing and Sales
We do not sell, rent, or trade student preparation data to third parties. Your data is used exclusively to improve and run your prep experience.
6. Security and Retention
GATETECH uses authenticated access controls and encrypted network connections to protect account and preparation data. We retain account data while an account remains active and only for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse, or resolve disputes.
7. Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your GATETECH account and associated preparation data by emailing neerajkhatri304@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account. Include “GATETECH account deletion request” in the subject. We may verify account ownership before deletion. Account data will be deleted within 30 days, except information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, payment, or legal obligations.
